Framing- Maddie

The following picture is of my puppy Maddie. She is outside of our back door. This photo was used for the framing roll. I used the square windows to frame the dogs face. This is one of my favorite pictures. I love the way that the window frames are blurred and her face is perfectly in focus. The one thing i wish i had noticed before taking the picture is the little bit of dirt on the windows. It is a little distracting.

Shutter Speed- Back Handpriing

This photo was for the shutter speed roll. The photo is of a fellow cheerleader doing a back handspring. It catches the quick movement of throwing yourself backwards and having your feet follow. I love the place I caught the picture. It shows the unique movement required in a back handspring. The problem with this photo is that it was taken in the gym, where there is dim lighting for taking pictures. There is also a glare from the shiny floor, but I did not know how to get rid of such a thing.

Depth of Field-Tomato Plant

I took this picture of a tomato plant in my backyard. When I saw the way the leaves were rolling i thought it would be an interesting photo. I also used this for the depth of field because i thought it would work well to have the close up on the plant and then a fuzzy background of the siding on my house.
