This picture was taken of an apple with a bite taken from it. It was used for the high contrast roll. I used an apple because when placed on our outdoor table it had a shine to it which I believed would appear to demonstrate the high contrast aspect. When we developed these pictures we learned how to use the soloral. This chemical helps to change the coloring of the photo to make the picture look even more contrasty.
As our first roll in photo one, architecture was very fun. We had to go out and find places near us that had different aspects of architecture. This picture was taken at the local coffee shop. I loved the way the bricks looked when you looked from this angle down along the pathway.
One of the most work involved rolls we have done so far this year is the vintage roll. This clock was my grandmothers clock and is very old. I liked the look of the detail on the outside and the visibility of the parts on the inside. When we took these pictures and developed them, we then had to put them into a bleach substance and then into a sepia toner. The sepia toner proceeded to make the picture look very vintage.

My puppy Maddie is crazy when it comes to tearing stuff up. This poor toy was shredded into the stuffing you see all over the lawn. I walked outside while trying to find things to take pictures of which demonstrated leading lines and fell upon this crazyness. I thought it was the perfect example!

In the following picture are two of my friends sitting on a gate near my house on a Monday afternoon. This picture demonstrate people with interesting backrounds. Just beyond this fence is a pond. I thought that the back profile of the people was an interesting way to take the picture.

Hall Decorating!

As one of my favorite pictures, this demonstrates the task of taking pictures of hands and feet in their nature life. This picture was taken in the senior hallway during hall decorations. There were craft supplies everywhere and it was just a fun setting to capture.

Hands and Feet

This photo was taken of a pair of high heel shoes. It was for the roll of hands and feet. I wanted to take a picture of shoes because i felt like these kind of shoes tell a story about the girl that wears them. The problem with this photo was the lack of lighting when the picture was taken so the picture was hard to develop perfectly.
